Today in maths, in year 3, we were turning like turtles and robots to learn our angles and to discover what it means by turning clockwise and anticlockwise.We used lots of diffrent angles, which were: 90 degrees (or a quarter of a turn),180 degrees (half a turn), 270 degrees (3 quarters of a turn) and 360 degrees (a whole turn).
This helped us with our work because it was memorable and fun. Jared preferred pretending to be a robot, whereas Megan preferred being a turtle.
We also went on a website called a maths dictionary for kids. This website told us what parallel lines and perpendicular lines meant.
