Online Safety -Websites and Posters
Today we looked at these online safety posters and discussed their content and how effective they were.
Here are some of our comments about the posters, with such an important message about how to stay safe online:
Our favourite posters were the two which explained what being SMART means when online. We think it gives clear detailed information and the red poster is on our screensaver at school so that we can remind ourselves before we go online.
Our top tips are:
1) When online, don't share personal information like passwords, addresses, full names or your school name.
2) Never meet up with strangers or people you have met online. People who you meet online aren't your friends and you don't really know who they are.
3) Tell a known adult if something you see online upsets you, offends you or worries you.
4) Remember not all people and websites are reliable. Check the information is accurate and people aren't lying to you.
5) Never open emails or attachments from unknown people. They might be trying to trick you or put a virus on your computer.
A few great tips on E safety remember to keep these in your long term memory too carry on being safe.
