Teeth Investigation - Day 2 Observations

Here are our observations in the changes we have seen since yesterday, in our teeth (egg shell) investigation:

Milk:
We have decided that this is the last day for us to keep the milk as part of the investigation...
"This is due to the fact that it has gone off. It is starting to smell a bit like mouldy cheese!" (Neve)
"Bits are coming off the shell - it is starting to crumble. It is not as bad as some of the other egg shells in the investigation." (Megan)

Orange Juice:
"The outside layer of the egg shell has continue to rot away."
"Both the hard egg shell on the outside and the inner membrane is changing colour - it is getting darker." (Megan)

Water:
"The egg shell in the water has stayed the same. There hasn't been any changes in what the egg shell looks like" (Morgan)
Mrs D - What does this tell you about the effect of water on teeth?
"That water seems to be the drink that causes the least damage to your teeth!" (Caiden)

Coke:
"The coke has made the egg shell go crumbly and very dark on the inside." (Paddy)
Mrs D - What does this tell you about the effect of coke on your teeth?
"This means it could make your teeth go rotten." (Ethan)
