Today, our teacher was reading a story and instead of adding our new words to the display board she stuck them on herself, to help us remember them.
The new words / phrases were:
gestured, dark and eerie
immediately.
Charlie had the great idea of adding them to Google classroom each week so we can go over them at home too. He got a certificate for thinking of ways to self-scaffold learning.
What a great idea! I'm looking forward to being covered in post-it notes too, next week!
