Ink Fossil Art


Firstly, we looked at the ammonites, so we could carefully paint a picture. After that we sketched them, then painted these beautiful ancient artefacts.Next ,we learnt how to use the inks safely without spilling them. 
We looked at the colour wheel and discussed which colours looked great together. Long after that, we started to improve our sketch, to finally paint them. 

Moving on to the final stage, we started to paint them (they look fabulous)! We put are paintings on show in the class room due to the fact that we are proud of our work. What do you think of them? Leave a comment below. by Tamara and Sophie



Our feelings when we painted.

Eden felt like a famous archaeologist when he looked at his amenities
Ebony explained that she thought it was very challenging drawing.
Dylan feels proud of his work.
Joe found it tricky, but his work is good.
Ryan found it challenging yet he thinks his work is good.
Mia thought it was going to be hard, but she persevered
Oliver thought it was pretty hard at the start  yet at the end found it easy
Bradley found it hard but he did add lots of details
Elliot found it very easy at the start to end because I am confident with my art skills.
Owen found it very easy to draw paint and compose from start till end because he feels positive.
