Good Day

I am Titus and I am a Roman soldier and I am here to tell you about my Roman uniform. I have a lined undershirt underneath my metal body armour and also I have a tunic made from wool it is red and gold. I have body armour from overlapping iron strips. The iron strips was fastened with hooks and laces. Cassis is the name of my helmet and my cassis is made out of metal. It was designed to protect my head from sword blows. I have a shield what is called a scutum.  My scutum is quite light so I can hold it in one hand. The last thing Im going to tell you is my caligae.
