Today, we investigated how shadows are formed.
We found that the object must block the light source in order for a shadow to be formed. It was very exciting when we turned the lights off because our shadows were really clear.
We learn some new vocabulary: translucent, transparent and opaque. We also found out that the closer the light source, the bigger the shadow and the further away the light source, the smaller the shadow.
Take a look at some of the shadows we made with our tin men.
